Nassau is the busiest place in the Bahamas: the pastel colonial capital on one side of the harbor, the Paradise Island resorts on the other, and four hundred years of pirate and privateer history underneath both. If it is your first Bahamas trip, it is the easiest one to fill several days in.
Buzz Air flies into Lynden Pindling International (NAS), clearing Bahamian customs on arrival. Flying private means skipping the commercial terminal entirely. You are over the bridge to Paradise Island, or downtown on Bay Street, while airline passengers are still in the immigration line.

What to do in Nassau
Atlantis, Paradise Island
The landmark resort's Aquaventure water park, marine habitats, and casino are open to day visitors as well as resort guests. The towers also make a useful landmark on final approach.
The Queen's Staircase
Sixty-six steps carved out of solid limestone by hand in the 1790s, leading up to Fort Fincastle and the best panorama of the harbor. Go early, before the cruise crowds.
Bay Street & the Straw Market
Downtown Nassau's main artery: straw work, conch salad stands, rum cake, duty-free shops, and the pink colonial government buildings behind them.
Day trips to the Exuma Cays
Nassau is the usual jumping-off point for the swimming-pig and iguana excursions into the Exumas. Or ask us about flying straight to Staniel Cay and skipping the boat ride.

How long is the flight to Nassau?

Does Buzz Air use the main Nassau airport?
We land at Lynden Pindling International (NAS), but on the private general-aviation side. No commercial terminal and no lines. Customs and immigration meet private arrivals directly.
How early do I need to arrive for my return flight?
Minutes rather than hours. Bahamian customs overtime fees ($63 per passenger) apply to flights departing before 9 AM or after 5 PM, so most guests fly home mid-day. Your coordinator will time the return to avoid the surcharge.
Can we combine Nassau with another island?
Yes. Multi-stop itineraries are one of the main reasons people charter. Nassau works well with the Exumas or Harbour Island. Send us the list and we will sequence it.
